    Help with a 63 Tach

The plastic end of tach cable on my 63 broke inside the tach. I tried a number of times to pull the broken part out while the cluster was in. No luck.
So today, I started taking things apart and one thing lead to another. Now I have the tach out of the cluster, in my kitchen. I can see the broken end, but I can't get it out. I've tried a scribe, even heated it, but no luck.
Its a beautiful weekend & I'd like to be driving the car. I hate the thoughts of shipping it off to an insturment repair shop for a few weeks to get it repaired, while my car sits....
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Paul

I'd try super glue on a pin head. Good luck Paul

Thanks for the suggestion Paul. I thought about glue, but the hole is so small, i thought i would glue it shut!!!
i took a 1/16 drill and drilled down about 3/8". Then i took a small sheet metal screw and twisted it in. Pulled right out!!
now all i have to do is put it back together.

      Thanks again.

Drive the car without Tach, it is not mandatory to have one!!!
