Where are the more common areas to find the build sheet on 1981 Corvettes built in St Louis?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Common places are tucked behind the speedometer, Tach etc. One place I know for sure is the strut bar center bracket . They folded them up real small and pushed it into the little bracket housing.

St Louis Corvettes built from about 67 to 81 had a manifest (build sheet) glued to the top of the tank. That is the most commonly retrieved build sheet. Robert lists other frequent finds as well

Photos show build sheet on an 82 and a build sheet stuff in the strut bracket of a 78 low mileage Silver Anniversary car.
