Re: Hanley Dawson Dealership
They're no longer in business and I don't think that any other dealership bought them out and changed names. I think they just went out-of-business.
At one time, I believe they were a noted "high performance" car dealership. Now, they're "history".In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Hanley Dawson Dealership
Joe,
Your right on the money. Hanley Dawson was the dealership to buy the fast cars. See this link: http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/21/2...-l88-corvette/. I have a 69 L89 car (#8804) with an M22 trans (yea, I know not possible from the factory) that I am trying to find some order information/documentation from the dealer/factory. The car was ordered for stock and purchased in January 1969. I have talked to the original owner and he says it had the M22. I have a copy of the window sticker with the M22 option but that could be fake. Any suggestions on finding doc info???- Top

Re: Hanley Dawson Dealership
Our 1966 427-425 Silver 66 coupe (recent Restorer cover) came from Hanley Dawson on 7 Mile Road in Detroit. I went to the address two years ago and it was not a dealership type buiilding. Last year in Boston NCRS National there was a DeLorenzo 1969 race car that was sold and sponsored out of Hanley Dawson.
Hope this helps
