Howdy all:
I recently became the happy owner of a nice '64 Coupe. It had a frame off restoration about 10 years ago and has been well taken care of since. The original 327/300 was rebuilt mechanically and cosmetically to be a 327/365. Nice to have the extra 65HP and matching numbers. The car is just what I was looking for - runs and looks great.
I've been a car guy for 48 years, since the day I was walking to first grade and the neighborhood hoodlum did a huge burnout in a '56 Belair right in front of me. I was hooked. I raced sports cars for 15 years. I have owned a number of British cars, Porsches, BMWs, and 2 Shelby Mustang GT350's, but this is my first Corvette; for that matter, it is the first GM product I have ever owned.
I'll see you guys at the shows as a spectator.
Steve
