Does anyone know a source for the correct finishes for the parts in the haedlight assembly?

Those pieces that were painted were semi-gloss black. All of the pieces that were painted were painted prior to assembly.

Do you know the color of the springs. Also was there any over spray on any of these parts?

The springs were either natural or phosphate-finished. I don't recall which, but I think it was phosphate. They were definitely not painted, though.

I don't recall any body color over-spray, if that's what you're referring to. I think the doors were painted prior to the installation of the "guts".

I think you are right about being phosphate for the spring color. This was my guess but with all the rust I was not sure. As you said the other parts look like they might have been painted black. Again with the conditions it was hard to tell.
