    Motor City Regional Proving Ground Photos

    We had a great day yesterday at the GM Proving Grounds - even the weather cooperated - only spit once for a few minutes, and was dry five minutes later.           I think I see a Jetstream Blue with competition gray wheels in a few of those shots. You guys have raised the bar for a regional, and will have to really come through for the National. It is hard to have so much fun as we had yesterday.

              Nice to see you again John, and thank you very much for your help in setting up the Milford visit. What a treat it was to tour the the facility and drive so many of the courses.
              I have been reading about Milford and seeing pics of it since I was a little kid, to a lifetime car lover like me its an almost mystical place.
              As I was going through the banking in my '62, it was an amayzing feeling to realize that almost 50 years ago the mules for my very car were being wrung out in that very spot, wow! The weather was perfect, sunny would have ruined it, Zora at Milford was always in black and white.

                  Thanks for the photos for us who had to miss the Regional and track drive. Sure brought back memories of 1992 and Milford drive in our 65 then. No photos or "high speed" driving back then either. Looking forward to 2011!!!
