Midyear steering wheel crack...

it's one of those plastic simulated wood wheels. There is a tiny crack at the bottom of the wheel itself, so it's not very noticeable, only 1/16" wide.

I'd like to do a fix on it but I'm not sending it out to some steering wheel guru who will keep it for three months and then charge me a couple hundred.

Have any of you guys successfully done a decent repair on something like this that looked pretty good? If so, I'd like to hear the details on how you did it. Thanks in advance. PT

Patrick, Seems to me this question just came up on another forum recently. Can't quite remember which one though. I think it may have been Vh's though. JD
