    C1 Steel tach cable repair?

    Had a loud grinding sound in my new steel cased tach cable. The cable steel casing was badly kinked and pulled apart (Broken) in the gromet that goes through the firewall. I assume it happened during a tough installation. Is there a way to "fix" the steel case? It is covered by the gromet. JB weld?
