    C2 Midyear Air conditioning

If you were to compare a 1964 complete factory air conditioning system, part for part to the AIM's of a 63, and a 65-67 at a high level which parts would be out of place when used in a midyear outside of 1964 from a NCRS standpoint. For example, I understand that the POA valve changed design so 63 and 64 look different than 65-67....what about interior and exterior plenums, dryer, dashboard, vent assemblies, controls, compressor, condensor, radiator support, battery mount and access panel.......outside of date codes on compressor and POA, any items that would stick out to a master level judge?

I believe the POA valve was introduced in 1967. There was also a change in the shape of the compressor that occurred around 1966. These are two fairly obvious differences from 1964.

Regarding the other parts you mention, I don't know the answer but I am curious to know. I hope some experts can chome in.

I am not an expert but have had a 64 & currently have a 65 (both with AC). I believe the AC is virtually identical. Don H.
