    Ahhhh...same as Jon Koslowski's "bond coat". I try to remember to use a light first coat routinely after I read his book...allows you to go wetter on the next coat(s) without runs.

    Sanding the clear on cured BC/CC, and then spraying more clear coats is another one of Koslowski's techniques. In his case, he's not looking to perfect the orange peel. He's trying to add more material for color sanding, so the final product is a mile-deep custom candy paint job.

      Thanks guys-- I told the painter today to go with the single stage urathane. I realy appreciated all of the input. This also was the paint that my painter suggested when I first talked to him. Thanks Wayne, Dick, chuck et al.
