    Fun day last week

I was at a local car show with my 55 Corvette , because we all like to show off our cars . I parked it then went off looking at others cars there and after a while came back to my 55 and was amazed to see so many people admiring it and thinking I would be asked many questions about the Corvette.
Not, people were standing in line to take their turn using their foot to push on the curb feeler to hear them buzz .All the talking was about the curb feelers used in the 50's when people had WW tires , and two people looking under the 55 trying to understand how they worked .
I just found it so amusing that they were more interested in them then the Corvette. All questions were about it then the Corvette. Just thought I would pass this on . You just never know what turns people on!

I tell the kids (under 15) that they were antenae that I took from space aliens. They do not know what to say. They might just as well have been from space aliens because they have never seen them (and neither had a lot of their mothers.) yes good times. And mine do not even buzz.

          Roy,
That's a good story. When I got to the part about " using their foot to..." I thought " Oh No", but it tuned out O.K.. If enjoying your car is what it's all about then you should be a very happy fellow.
          Regards,
          Alan

Thanks I dont think of what's it's worth or selling it , just driving it and enjoying people asking about it. That's what having a Corvette to me is all about, drove to NY , Canada and still driving it, at car shows I even let people sit in it, why not?? vary few people ever even get to see a 1955 Corvette.
