Black Gloss Lacquer in "Spray Bombs"

Available at that big orange home supply store. Less than 4 bucks for standard size (?oz) spray can.
Anybody ever use it?
Is it real lakker?
Is it soluble in gasoline like the spray enamel paints?

I would be surprised if any NCRS member has used it on a Corvette.
Probably, if it says it's lacquer.
Very likely, but I believe I would buy some lacquer thinner unless you are just using it to clean up overspray on the garage floor. However, in spite of the crazy pricing at the pump, gasoline is cheaper; about $4 for a gallon of gasoline, and $15 for a gallon of lacquer thinner.

If you try it, better do as those CYA instructions say...try it first in an inconspicous area. The problem with black is...it's not always black. Just because it says black doesn't mean it is Tuxedo Black. The different shades of black used in automotive paint vary all over the place.
