    58? Windshield Wiper Motor

I have a 5044266 Windshield Wiper Motor but it does not look like any I have seen. I have attached a picture of the unit and my question is - Is this an early 58 unit or has it been hashed by the former owner - Bubba & Sons.
    Any help is appreciated.

Bubba has feasted on your wiper motor. Probably had an internal problem and who knows why they removed the factory actuator mechanism.

Thank you. The unit works but is there any real value in what is left. Can I get another working unit and put my correctly numbered parts on it?

        Larry....
Best call a few suppliers, (like Corvette specialties of Md.) that specialize in wiper motor restorations. they have the parts needed to get your's running.

I try to keep business and hobby separate. My posts are as a hobbyist, not to promote Corvette Specialties Of MD. (My Company) If you like, I can advise you further. Send me a PM with a photo of the motor after you remove the 4 slotted screws that hold the front cover in place. I suspect that the switch was broken, or modified. The switch is the key to that type of wiper motor. The main numbered part is the front cover that appears modified. There have been 2 different repros of that numbered part, the latest being quite accurate IMO.
          Hope this helps.
