Thank you Harry. There is part of an '0' in the part number as you suggest; I took a rubbing today while in the dash. My inner box was apart 20 years ago and my notes only included the part exterior stamping and do not mention a code inside the box, must have missed it. Regardless, my 30 Apr built car has the earlier inner box and takes the Y-duct with the complete corner. Best regards.

If anyone knows of the application differences between the 4-sided and 5-sided 63 only snout I would sure appreciate knowing.

The picture Harry shows is a late 63 heater box. I don't know your serial # but there is a earlier version heater box that looks different and I am not sure the date of changeover. The Y duct is full in the front like the back and I think the snout is different although I can't tell you what is different about it. I think attaching screws are about 1/2" long with hex head 5/16" wrench size and self taping without points on them.

Tim is correct on the earlier Y duct being full in the front.This one is off an early March 63. Bob
