How many points are deducted for a right side rear view mirror (dated glass) and a luggage rack? I drive my car and enjoy both. Can a 'driver' make 'Top Flight' with such? Does a 'driver' stand a chance of making 'TF' with the unavoidable smudges, nicks, etc associated with driving the car? I have the JG, and I've done the best I can, but I don't want to make a trailer queen out of something I enjoy. I'd appreciate comments--Dick Whittington are you there to respond?

Re: '69 judging question
Driver can certainly make top flight, especially if driven to an event, the driving points really add up. Also, a good (well maintained) "driver" is not as prone to losing "ops" points, which at 25 per failure add up quickly!Bill Clupper #618- Top

Re: '69 judging question
For the mirror, maybe one or two points as a deduction, for the luggage rack maybe 6 or so. Most judges are very lenient towards typical options like these.
As Bill said, compare the points above to losing 25 points for an inop dash lamp.- Top
