Just wanted to share some pics of my days work. Woke up early and washed the car. Rolled her into the garage and then clay barred her, polished her, and finally waxed her. First time using Griots products. Carnuba wax was a bit tough coming off, but looked great. Drove the car into the yard and took some pics. Added a second wax coat after I took the pics. Hope ya like them.

Kirk,
What type of product, if any, did you use with Griot's clay bar? What polishing product did you use? Did you use their Polisher. My questions are because I am considering the purchase of one from them. Thanks.- Top

Re: Pics - Six Hours of Washing, Polishing, and Waxing
Dried Car with Microfiber Towels
Clay with Griot's Speed Shine
Polished using Griot's Orbital and Polish #3 (mildest)
Waxed using Griot's Orbital and Best of Show Wax (carnauba wax)
Buffed, then hand waxed a second time using pad - I actually found this easier, I think I was orbiting too long and over-drying the was making it harder to remove
Have fun!- Top

Re: Pics - Six Hours of Washing, Polishing, and Waxing
I attended a Griot's seminar at a local Complete Garage outlet last fall and the factory guys said to spray some of their Spray On Wax on the dried Best of Show Wax to aid removal. I did my 66 this spring and it worked great! Can't wait for the first car show.- Top

Re: Pics - Six Hours of Washing, Polishing, and Waxing
The Griot Catalogue always has such beautiful and often rare/unusual cars on the cover. Inside, I'm always amused to see "Mr. Griot" showing how you can't burn the 'priceless' paint with his orbital machine. It's good to hear first hand what people think of Griot's products.
Car looks terrific Kirk!!!

Re: Pics - Six Hours of Washing, Polishing, and Waxing
Kirk,
If you wash your car very often, try the spray on wax when drying. I use the once a year polish/sealer on my truck and the spray on wax when I wash with amazing results. Works great on the wife's Millenium Yellow too!
I have gone overboard collecting Griots products and haven't been disappointed yet.- Top
