I'll need to check Roy, currently it is all greasy now in the engine compartment...

I have owned my '54 since 1972 and have never seen a dust cover. Are they available?

The pic. I showed was from e-bay that some one had NOS in a box , I would think some one selling repro early (dealer) Chevy parts may have them for sale or repro's. I've seen them many years ago on Corvettes & cars and one Corvette I had. I for got about it till I saw this one on e-bay for sale. The JM don't mention them but think they were original and fell off from heat or were just throw away when timing the engine.
This may be a good article for some one to look into.
