spark plug wires 1959

Are the spark plug boots for a 1959 orange or black? In a recent Top Flight event it was noted that the plug boots should be orange. But, according to the 4th Edition Technical Manual on page 60 it says shows them to be orange but on the following page 60 (yellow page) they show the plug boots are black. Just puchased new plug wires with orange boots and wondering which one is correct?

I don't hav an AIM for 1959, but if you go to the engine section of your aim and give me the part number for a couple of the wires, I can probaly look up the original configuration. Just drop me an email or reply to this thread.
