Dick, you just missed our big Pate Swap meet that was held last weekend. The NCCC LoneStar Classic at Texas Motor Speedway is May 16-18. As far as I know there's no events cheduled in North Texas during that time frame. Sorry, Gary....

Gary: Thanks for the reply. The dates we chose to come to Texas, surround the birthday of our Grandson. He will be 4. I was hoping to take him to a car show. He may be too young yet. Thanks DG

Dick, if you happen to be traveling back after May 7th, the Chickasha, Oklahoma "spring" swap meet in May 8th, 9th, 10th, at the fairgrounds in historic, downtown, Chickasha, Oklahoma. Jay Leno sometimes attends the pre-war, fall swap meet there. Might be worth a stop-by! Sometimes, it's better than the huge Pate swap meet. Ridge.

Huge concours show in Clear Lake on May 3rd-4th. Big auction, too. A 53 Corvette went for close to $400K at the auction last year.
