    63 original stamp pad?

Could someone please post a picture of a known original 63 stamp pad, preferably an early one? I need to have mine restamped, and I want to make sure I do it correctly. I understand that many stamp pads are now being rejected in judging. I have heard that the "6" in the serial number is now an issue.

I'm sure not much good can come from this post. The only 6 that could be an issue on a 63 would be the fourth character in the VIN that would indicate a convertible. That should be no part of an engine stamp.

Tom, I'm note sure what you are saying? If you have car VIN 6666 then you would have 4 6's on the pad.

That would be correct, but if you had car #4444, then you would have no 6's. I thought your post indicated a 6 being an issue on all stamps. That would not be the case. Maybe I just didn't understand the original post correctly.

Got it, I just assumed he had a 6 somewhere in the VIN sequence.

Maybe the original poster might clear up what he meant. I just assumed he was talking about the 6 in the VIN indicating a convertible.

Sorry - the last six digits of my VIN are 104963. So the VIN portion of the stamp would be 3104963. The engine portion is F1102RE.

I think Carl is asking to see what shape the number 6 has on a early 63 vin pad. Phil 8063
