Does this line have a vibration coil or coils in it? If it does, about where is it from the block or firewall?

'62 block to oil pressure gauge line
Again, without looking, I'd guess 1 loop. I also mention, that the repro line they sell (if that is where you are) is 1/32" too large and the block fitting should be 5/16" hex instead of 3/8". Too bad "they" can't get it right. Many might not notice, but that 1/32" difference in the line dimension can look like a foot to the analist (is that a word?) among us...Best, Dennis

Re: '62 block to oil pressure guage line
Yes, I have a new line and yes, I can see it is larger without even comparing. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have even attempted to remove the oil line to rebuild the guage. It was froze on and the fitting was soon rounded. How many strokes of the file, does it take to make a 3/8" fitting a 5/16" fitting?

Yeah, you can file down the hex, but you'd play hell reducing the diameter of the oil line.
I appreciate the possibility that analist might be accepted as a real word. Thanks for your support.
