C2 67 Seat back lever question

One seat back lever crank was broken. I ordered a new one and installed it but the position of the the seat back lever was then different than the other seat. Without tearing the other seat apart I'm not sure which is correct. Assuming the hockey stick is vertical in the 12 and 6 position what position should the seat back lever be at. Thanks

    Terry -

The thin end of the lever should be at the top (pointing up), parallel to the sides of the hockey stick, with the setscrew at the bottom, as shown in the Assembly Manual in UPC 1 Seats, sheet J5.

Thanks John, I looked in the AIM I purchased and of course pages 135 & 136 (UPC 1 Seats, sheet J5) of the seat section are missing. If anyone has these pages I would appreciate them. Thanks

Does the set srew have a slot for a screwdriver or a recess for an allen wrench? I have one of each.

Mine have a slotted screw holding the lever. I believe they are original and correct.

                  Originals were slotted.
