On the 67 oil pressure gauge (60 max for my 327/300hp), how does the gauge read? Here's what I mean, is 60 the reading at the last or 4th dash, or is 60 the reading when the needle is past the last dash and over the actual number "60"? Even with the re-conditioned dash, my needle still wants to peg right over the number "60" when cruising at 65-70 mph and then drops back to 30 around 10-20 mph. Let me know. Thanks.

Re: '67 Oil Pressure Gauge Question
The last "hash mark" in the clockwise direction is 60, but the needle may go beyond this. I don't know as my engine has a proper standard volume oil pump that delivers 40-45 psi at 2000 and above with the engine fully warmed up.
The reason your gage gage reads high is because it does not have a correct OE replacement pump or OE relief spring.
The (mis)use of "high volume" and "high pressure" pumps (usually on the advise or so-called "engine builders") has been extensively discussed in the archives.

It's bolted to the rear main bearing cap; the pan has to come off to get to it.Attached Files- Top

Re: '67 Oil Pressure Gauge Question
Just the oil pan and flywheel inspection cover have been removed; the exhaust pipes and oil filter have also been removed, but that's not necessary in order to remove the oil pan.- Top
