Restorer Articles - Stainless Removal

Is there a restorer article describing how to remove and reinstall C2 windshield stainless. Specifically the lower windshield stainless.
If so, where is it? I already checked the archives.

Hi Ralph,

To answer your question about relevant articles in the Restorer, per my 1965 edition of the Corvette Restorer on CD (from 2005), the following are listed as applying to '63-'67:

Do-It-Yourself Glass Installation (Winter 1986)

It doesn't have much in the way of detail concerning windshield trim removal, but it has some excellent diagrams.

Did not see the post. Not sure why my searches did not come up with it?
Wish we had an expect who could lead me through this.
I understand the sequence. It is the actual use of the tool or tools that I am not sure of.

I am in the process of reinstalling the stainless on my '66. In the 2006 thread referenced I mentioned favoring using new repro clips for the lower front piece. Now, after comparing my originals with the repops, my neighbor the glass-man recommended using the originals.
I was lucky that the originals were all in fairly good shape and cleaned up well.
