NCRS Member Tony Hurtado requested these pics of the 70 LS5 TCS system. I figured others might find them useful as well.

Re: 70 TCS system pics
Thanks Jordan,
I have a '71 but the routing of the vacuum tube and metal clips is helpful.

Re: 70 TCS system pics
Thanks Jordan.
Of particular interest to me is the double tube clip shown next to the thermostatic coil housing in the first two pictures. Does anyone have one that's out of the car that you can share multiple views with a ruler so I can fabricate one? This is one of those one year wonders for Corvettes. Another source would be great, too. Doc Rebuild used to carry this item, but it has long been unavailable.

Re: 70 TCS system pics
Jordan's pictures are for a 1970, LS5, TCS system. That is a one-year, one-engine only configuration. Small blocks of the same year, or other years -- as well as other year LS5s will have a different configuration.
Yes, Dennis -- that picture works for a 1970 L46Last edited by Terry M.; April 27, 2008, 10:30 AM.Terry- Top

Re: 70 TCS system pics
Thanks for checking for me, but this is not the one. The one on ebay is for a single tube. The clip used on the 1970 LS-5 allows for two tubes so it has two grooves for the pair of vacuum tubes that run along the valve cover. I think the prongs that make this clip must be a little bit longer than the single tube clips to allow for that additional groove.Tony- Top
