    Starting problem

66-427 starts cold fine and runs fine. After it gets hot and I shut it down, when I go to start it again it will start right away but after a few seconds dies like it's not getting fuel. Pump the pedal a few times and crank it 20 seconds it starts right up and runs great. Any ideas why it stalls initially?

sounds like a vapor lock problem. install a inline fuel pressure gauge and see if you have fuel pressure when this happens.
