    C-3 Rocker Cover Torque

The GM Service Manual calls for 45 inch pounds of torque for the small block V-8 rocker covers. The manual does not stipulate if that torque is for the stamped steel covers or the finned aluminum covers. I would think that looking at the gasket flange thickness differance that there would be 2 differant torque specs. Anyone run across this or have any leakage problems? I'm using the aluminum rocker covers. THANKS for any comments.
