Re: Air Cleaner silk screen
John,
If you look at the archive threads below, it says that 68 air cleaner decals were curved and as well some 69's. The rectangular decal came in for 1969 cars after Aug. Sept of that year car.
Here's a picture of the curved decal from a late 67 (June 67) 327.
My original just cleaned off with a little simple green:
Probably like the 68 327 one.Attached FilesJerry Fuccillo

Re: Air Cleaner silk screen
I have a number of air cleaner lids with the curved and square style silkscreen and think I understand them, what I havent seen is the CZ code stamp and the GM part number going sideways on the silk screen.....its not a real big deal I just thought someone might have the answer.............Thanks in advance John Meissinger- Top

Re: Air Cleaner silk screen
John,
CZ code stamp indicated what model "air cleaner assembly" this lid was destined for. I do not have my chart handy but there are several two letter codes and I am surprised we haven't seen more discussion about this.- Top
