    57 Engine Bay Blackout

Does anyone know the color on the heater hose hold down clips that are on the passenger fender skirt of a 57? Are they left natural or painted black? The same question also applies to the metal clutch rod bracket on the firewall - is it black or natural? Thanks.

The three heater hose clips should be gloss black.

Also the screws holding the brackets should be blacked out. I think the metal clutch rod bracket is on the inside under the firewall insulation.

The double heater hose clamp was installed on the Trim Line, long after the Paint Shop blackout operation, so its screw would not show blackout paint.

          John,
I got dinged at the Chattanooga regional for the screws not being blacked out.
