Should one expect that the Ident number in the upper RH corner of the Window Sticker be in somewhat numerical sequence corresponding to the VIN Number?
In the case of the Riverside Red SWC, it shows a VIN# as 116959 and an Ident Number of 451618. My original sticker shows VIN # as 119147 and an Ident number of 289437. Does this number correlate to anything such as date, zone assigned, or what?

Stu, no relationship at all best I can tell, my VIN is 133xx and the id number I have is 422818.

Harry, That number is the Dealer Order Identification number.Check the Restorer volume 22 #3 pg. 27......stan
