I need an accurate discreption of 63 RPO's

I would appreciate very much an accurate discreption of 63 RPO's 2898A, 2932A, 2L75A and 2U65A as they appeared on the window sticker. John? Thanks........stan

    2898A is Saddle Leather Trim
    2932A is Saddle Tan
    2L75A is "300HP CORVETTE V8"
2U65A is "SIGNAL SEEK RADIO" (the AM Wonderbar)

John , Could the 2932A Saddle Tan be 2932A SADDLE TAN on a window sticker. I find that the NCRC Corvette Spec Guide,Noland Adams Vol. #2 a Tripple A window sticker and Curt Gifford's Restorer article all differ on Rpo's Thanks.....stan

I can't imagine a window sticker reading "Solid Tan" for an exterior paint color; all colors were "solid" - there were no two-tone exteriors.

I don't remember if the window stickers were the same but on car shipper copies the colors were listed as "solid black", solid blue" etc.
              Probably not the same though???

The actual window sticker from my 63 reads:
                "2916A SOLID BLUE"

                That's for "Daytona Blue"

The only other item on my sticker close to yours (the way it is presented):

                  "2L76A 340 HP CORVETTE V8"

Note: space between 340 and HP

Here's an example with SOLID RED, and I must say I'm surprised, because the buyer would expect the window sticker to conform with what he ordered from the sales brochures (Riverside Red).

This was a beautiful fuelie at Dover Corvette Expo, Dover OH, in August of 1975.

The way items are presented on the sticker that is shown from the Riverside Red car corresponds to my original sticker as well. Now all you need to do is track the actual verbiage for the RPO's you have. Good luck. Hope some one can help you out with that (no guesses please, right?).

I stand corrected - confused '63 stickers with 64's; have four different '63 stickers, and all say "solid black", "solid red", "solid silver", etc. '64 stickers have the brochure color - "ermine white", etc.

On the sticker than Wayne posted, anyone familiar with the number in the upper right hand corner (451618)? I believe it is an identification number assigned when the order is placed.

Yup, that's the "Ident Number", assigned by the plant when they accepted the order for production. That and the dealer order number were the only two numbers that followed the car from order acceptance at the plant, all the way through the system, to shipment to the dealer.
