In looking through my boxes of stuff, I came across one of these that is an Army greenish type color. For a 1972, should it be the shiny metal or this color? If shiny, what do think the green one is used on?
    Thanks for the help.

If you're talking about an actual COATING and not just a light green dye over zinc plating, it's a "fairly recent" SERVICE valve. The AC-736C is still manufactured, although not be GM or DELPHI.
