According to the JG, some late '69s had '70 numbered alternators. What is the 1970 # that corresponds to a '69 1100884?

Marc-
1970 Corvettes with air conditioning (both 350 and 454ci) and the LT1 used the 61 amp 1100884 alternator. Originals are still available, but the supply is drying-up fast now that the chrome bumper market is on the rise. Needless to say, buying an original is an expensive proposition - anywhere from $600-$1000 if you can find one. Re-stamps can be had for $500 or so.- Top

Re: '70 Alternator #
Same number -- different back on the alternator. Sorry no picture to post, and I would have to get someone to post it for me if I had one.
A description of what to look for on each style back is in some of the older posts on this board.Terry- Top

Re: '70 Alternator #
I have five photos to share with anyone on an 0F18 I once owned. I traded it for a January 1970 1100884 from NCRS member Mike South. The one in the photos show the back, front, and top.
Thanks,

You can try Ken Bruno, I don't have his website info with me now, but he advertises in Driveline and is an NCRS member. I will check back later if you get nowhere, I will provide the info. (PS it won't be cheap!)
