    Inside lower windshield trim

Looking for suggestions on painting my inside lower windshield trim. It currently is painted black. My Fourth edition 66 judging manual says is should be painted low gloss to coordinate with dash pad color which in my case is dark green. I plan on sanding it down to remove paint runs and scratches. My question is, do I paint it with interior dye to assure it matches my interior? How would I achieve low gloss? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Matt -

Assuming you have a rattle-can of the dark green dye, if you "dust" it on in several light coats, it will come out with a lower gloss than if wet-sprayed normally.

      John,

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post. I will take your advice and spray a few light coats of the dye.

      Matt
