1961 windows

I am having a terrible time getting the windows back in the doors. I've replaced and installed the wipes, and now it seems I can't get the windows bac in the cavity. Any help would be appreciated.

Ernie, don't know if it'll help, but here's a copy of the ST-12 Service Guide. Sorry I couldn't get them bigger.

It says you must remove the reveal moldings(felts) to remove the glass. Sounds like in your case the window goes in first, then the felts/moldings???

Thanks for the reply. I don't mean to ask a dumb question, but where can I get a copy of that (ST-12)? I have the AIM, but it is not that explicit.

Right....... and Ernie, you may also want to buy a copy of the 1961 Service Manual too for the common items.......engine, engine electrical, fuel system, etc.
