Best Vette Magazine

Can anyone share an opinion about what the best Vette Magazine is to subscribe to?

I am currently looking at either Corvette Enthusiast or Corvette Fever right now, but I know there are probably others.....

I should probably add that I have a '64 and am interested in Restoration, technical etc.....Mostly anything to do with C2's

I like Corvette Enthusiast personally. Here is what I like about it: a monthly article from our own John Hinckley on some aspect of Corvette production or restoration; a monthy column from Noland Adams, and typically they have an article on each generation of Corvette.

There's some guy named John something or other that writes regularly for Corvette Enthusiast. Those articles make it worthwhile right there.

The other mags are rags ASFAIC.

I get Corvette Enthusiast, Corvette Fever and Corvette Magazine and really enjoy all three. And they usually arrive at slightly different times of the month so I always have a new one to surf through.

Hinckley's column alone is worth the price. Noland's too. The other stuff is pretty good too.

I agree with the choices others have made. I like Corvette Entusiast best, then Corvette Magazine followed by Corvette Fever and Vette Vues. Although I still get Vette, I'm questioning it's value for me too. Seems of late they are almost all C-5 and C-6. I augment my Corvette mags with Super Chevy, Chevy High Performance, Popular Hot Rodding, Car Craft, Hot Rod, Motor Trend, Road and Track and then last, but not least Car and Driver (also known as Honda Lovers Magazine). I am retired now so I too like to keep them coming all month long. I specially like Super Chevy as they are all Chevy, and still carry some of Doug Marion's articles. He is still Mr. Chevrolet to me.

I do too, but it comes out so infrequently that a lot of us like to have other reading materials on hand. Besides, if David is posting here he must be receiving the Restorer already.

I have given up on all but 'Corvette Enthusiast'. It's ALWAYS interesting to read John H's articles and see the photos that go along with them.

I used to write for Vette, but it hasn't been the same for over 12 years since D. Randy Riggs left.

Corvette Fever employs that horrid writer Tom Benford who probably can't tell a Corvette from a Chevette. He consistently wins for the most inaccuracies and urban legends per typewritten page.

That's true Patrick, after the Riggs years the magazine routed away from the classic Corvette, not very useful for pre82 owners.

In the early nineties Vette gave me the first knowledges about these cars and every issue featured several old vettes!
