    Al Knoch Tops

I'm was about to order a new top from Knoch. Then I read about all these issues and comments about his tops and I'm not convinced that he's the shop I will order from. Besides Knoch, what other distributors are out there for a 1963 top?

Not sure what issues you are talking about, we put two tops onthis winter, a 62 and a 65 and both fit fine. Just my two cents

MANY distribute parts (getting them from whatever sources they deem profitable), but only a handful actually MANUFACTURE the parts. I 'think' your choice is Knoch or Corvette America, but there may be others manufacturing reproduction soft tops...

I agree Al has a good line of products. But if you have a fit or quality problem you are on your own. I had a problem with one of thier products and called and e-mailed till I was blue in the face. No reply, I saw Al in person at a show while he was working the booth and started telling him about my lack of help and return calls.. Well there were a lot of customers in line and could hear me, Al took care of my problem himself. I geuss he didn't want me to run off the clientel.. That is a lousy way to get satisfation but a man does what he has to do! By the way I did not get arrested either!

I put an Al Knoch top on my '63 last summer and it went on without a hitch. It looks great too.
