Coolest ZR1 I ever saw.... I think

Does anyone recall the specifics of this ZR1 that was displayed at the 1993 Scottsdale Spring Fiesta? I just remember it was heavily modified by the guys at the GM Desert Proving Grounds. This was not your ordinary ZR1....

That's the "Snake Skinner" ZR-1.

I remember this car, it was known as the snake skinner inside GM. I don't remember much about the engine but I know there were chassis mods which were specified by John Heinricy. I also remember hearing that the car was stolen at one point but was recovered missing some parts.

Thanks for the info, I knew it had a snake name.... I took some other pictures of it driving, and some under hood shots, so I must have been impressed! I think they brought an Impala SS (modified) to the meet as well. Thanks... Eric
