Part number for '58 Dimmer Switch

What's the correct part number for the dimmer switch for a '58? Have they changed over the years and what should I look for in finding an NOS switch? Thanks, Ted

The dimmer switch must have a "raised" rivet head on top.

The original switch was GM #1997023. It was used from 1957 to 1962 on Corvettes. It was also used for some other Chevrolet and GM cars of the period. It was available in SERVICE well into the 80's but the configuration may have changed somewhat on later pieces.

Just so there's no confusion here, neither of these switches is correct for a 1957-62 Corvette.
