C3 1968 Lt. Brake Lights Stay On

All of a sudden the Left two brakes lights are on when the key is turned, but the right two work fine. Any suggestions?

Jack,
I would suggest to check out the direction switch for the left side. Sounds like contact springs are in need of a tweaking. Brake lites and directionals are tied in in the steering column.

Thanks. I looked at it tonight and it's in the switch. I moved the turn signal lever and they went out. It's very touchy.
