    "scoda/nascar"

    Anyone out there with data on "SCODA" (Sports Cars Owners/Drivers AssN) races in the mid-50's and a source for race results in 1955/6? It is my understanding that this group later "merged" with NASCAR to attempt to give birth to a NASCAR "Sports Car" series.
    I need some information in order to explain where Corvette 1 and 2 were spending their creative time in this period......Anyone???? Thanks.

      Loren what about Dave ? in Michigan that did the articles on 5951, 5952, and 5953 years ago in the Restorer. I would think that he probably came up with some of the info you are looking for when he researched his article.

      Still have not heard back on the logbook yet. They had quite a research backlog when I made the request. I will probably see the former owner of the car tommorrow. I suspect that he either has the original logbook or a copy thereof
