C-1 Glove box

In putting my '61 back together, I installed the glove box (seat separater) using the existing screw holes. The top of the box is about 3/4 inch higher than the bulkhead that it attaches to. The AIM drawing shows it flush with the top of the bulkhead. There are only 2 screws on each side and the AIM shows 3. Yes, Bubba has been here all through this restoration.
The strange part is that it seems to fit perfectly at the bottom with the bottom of the box and around the transmission tunnel. Any thoughts/observations would be appreciated Thanks
