Cranks for HI_PERF C1 (1960) 283 Engines?

Where can I read about the forged vs. cast cranks used in C1 Corvettes, such as in 1960.

I've taken a brief look at Nolan's VOL. 1, but don't see a discussion of crankshafts.

If the ones used in 283 C1s were all the same, please advise with casting numbers, forged or not and etc.

All crankshafts used for 283's through at least the 1962 model year were of forged steel construction. This applied to both passenger car and Corvette applications.

All crankshafts used for 63-67 Corvette 327 engines were also of forged steel construction. The only cast crank ever used for a Corvette 327 was for the 1968 300 hp.
