Don -- as for the frame crayon dates, I believe it could have been the same date if your car passed final assy. late in that day.

Now for the other dates, best I can offer is a real example, off the Protecto-o-Plate and car that I saw in Sept '88. This was 75 cars before yours (about 1 day's production) on the line.

So I guess the answer is week(s), with a chance of much variability.

thanks again wayne i have seen a couple of bb cars and the stamp dates have been as mush as 3 weeks early to as close as 4 days i would think that much less than 4 days would not be possible because they had to be shiped by rail from tonawanda to st louis with handeling delays on both ends possible ... i find it amusing wayne that i live within a few miles from you and i use an international web site to talk to you ... im sure we know or know of some simmilar people and cars i have lived in the calgary area for 15 years priror to that in revelstoke bc and in vancouver i grew up a mile away from arnie chaddock in revelstoke and he is the bc ncrs chapter .. years ago i tried to buy a 70 bb convertable from him ...lol its a small world among enthusiests .....

I think the hand written date on the frame could easily have been the same date as the trim tag date, or one or more days after the trim tag date..
