'69 Front Fender Louver

Hello there -

I was curious if anyone can confirm that the front fender louvers found on '69's were only offered for the big blocks?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Had nothing to do with engine option.

That's what I thought, but I spoke to a "knowledgeable" corvette guy who insisted they were only offered for big blocks.

As a matter of fact, I have a friend who is the original owner of his 69 L-46 and it has the TJ-2 louver trim and it was originally built that way. No relationship, whatsoever, to ANY other options, engine or otherwise.
