I'm fitting my newly finished rear bumper brackets to figure out how they go together (I bought the car in pieces). The hardware kit I purchased included 3/8 inch bolts to attach the bumper bracket to the sides of the frame rails. It looks to me that the brackets should be bolted to the side frame rails with 1/2 x 1 1/2 bolts. Can someone please describe the size and thread count of the bolt referenced in the AIM with part # 9419101. Also, is #1362249 a 1/2" washer with a serrated side for gripping into the frame? Thanks in advance.

The GM #9419101 was a 1/2-13 X 1-1/2" bolt with 1-5/16" of thread. It was a trimmed head (i.e. non-indented head). I don't have finish or material grade, but it was either SAE grade 5 (3 line) or SAE grade 8 (6 line).
The washer was 1-1/4" OD, 17/32" ID and 1/4" thick. It had the "serrated" surface on one side.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
