    C1 Cruise Control

Has anyone put cruise control on a C1? I plan on doing some Interstate highway driving in my '59 and the old leg gets tired.

That would be great. I have tried googling and other avenues and come up blank.

I have used bolt on cruise controls for years. I presently have one on my 65. I can loosen one set screw, remove the turn signal control, and you can't see it. It works great. Email me if you have any questions. Don H.

For years, JC Whitney has been offering aftermarket cruise control set-ups for most cars.

This is a something that I would like to purchase and hope to install by the summer of 2009. I have found that Dakota Digital offers 2 kits, one for a cable speedo and one for a electronic speedo. If you install it before me, maybe I can pick your brain on how the install went.
My 59 is a hybrid but I went with an early smblk to simplify keeping the restored factory guages (though I do need an x-box to convert the signal from the T-56 to the factory speedo)

Thanks guys. Great info. It looks like I will probably go with the Audiovox.
Joseph - Still a ways form that part of the rebuild but will let you know.
