    Hello America!

    Hello everybody!
I joined a few weeks ago but haven't stopped by to say hello. I'm seeing a lot of familiar names from other sites, Corvette Forum mainly. I am doing a frame off on a '71 convertible, LS5, 4 speed car. I also own a '72 base model coupe and a '73 L82 coupe. I'm looking forward to all the knowledge, support and experience this forum offers.

    Hellooo, America...How are you?...

Sounds like a line from the City of New Orleans by Arlo Guthrie...it's one of my favorites.

It's good to hear you joined up, Jim...Welcome...You'll find friendly, competent people ready to help you here.

      Hi James,
I'm glad you're here. I have a 71 Coupe, 350/270, 4-speed, #6589, so I'm always glad to hear about other members that are interested in the 68-72 cars.
Are the daffodils up in Alaska yet?
      Regards,
      Alan

Welcome. As with the Corvette Forum, you are going to have a good support network here at the NCRS. How about posting some photos of your Corvettes?

          Welcome, Jim.
Say..............if I decide to drive my McLellan Awarded '85 up the AlCan next December, would I need snow chains?
I'm not sure if I wanta drive up during snow season, because it's difficult to see the large craters in the unpaved sections. But, at least the snow cover keeps the gravel from damaging the paint, right?
