    Re: undercoating removal followup

In my own case the undercoating seemed to have been used as a form of soundproofing measure as it was applied to most of the underbody, and as I mentioned before, even to the hood underside. This was definitely not an enjoyable or "silly" task!

      Re: undercoating removal followup

Bert, don't get me wrong, I am not making lite of the efforts that are put into doing the tasks needed to finish the projects. I have put hours into enough areas that I can't even consider looking back on. I was just refering to the fact that once the undercoat is off, a re-application is needed to make it "correct" again. It is similar to taking the time to re-apply inspection marks on the chassis (and I am) and then spraying over them with blackout as they were in the final factory process. Again, I was not trying to insult anyone.
