Glass Source - Disappointed with CC/Auto City Classic Glass
Are there any recomendations on a source for dated coded glass? I just received date coded door glass for my '58 and am disappointed with the quality of the LOF logo and the cut of the glass. I ordered it from Corvette Central and their supplier is Auto City Classic. It has 3 issues: the shape of the glass is somewhat different than the original, the LOF logo is sitting lower by about 1/2" from the top edge, and some of the LOF logo lettering is different sized/shaped than the original. Had a recent similar experience with Auto City. Ordered a date coded vent window glass that was not on the money as far as the cut of the glass was concerned. Slightly different than the original piece. -
